Binding: Eighteenth-century Italian gold-tooled red morocco; marbled pastedowns; on both covers, a border of fern-tips and an undulating roll; probably bound for Boutourlin.
Size: 235 × 173 × 32 mm.
Size of leaf: 225 × 164 mm.
Two-, three-, and four-line initials are supplied in red, two four- and one six-line initials in blue. Many initials with pen-flourishing in red ink, extending into the margins. Paragraph marks are supplied in red or black ink. Capital strokes in red or yellow.
Provenance: Erased ownership inscription on [n6v].
