On both covers fillets form a double frame; the inner rectangle is divided by fillets into lozenge-shaped and triangular compartments. At each point of intersection a round fleur-de-lis stamp, in the compartments a smaller stamp with a stag; see E. Kyriß, ‘Johannes Zoll, ein Tübinger Buchbinder des 15.
