  1. A-594(1) Copy Wanting the blank leaves a1 and o6. Binding: Italian(?) parchment; marbled pastedowns. Size: 217 × 150 × 22 mm. Size of leaf: 202 × 142 mm. Occasional pointing hands and ‘nota' marks. Extensive notes on o4v and o5v, bearing dates from 1504 to 1507. One seven-line initial ‘F' is supplied in blue, with red pen-work infill and extensions into the gutter, and reserved white decoration; other three- to five-line initials are supplied in red or blue. Paragraph marks are supplied in red. Provenance: Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex (1773-1843); book-plate with handwritten shelfmark ‘AA.c.7': see Lee, Royal Bookplates, 40-1, no. 23; sale, pt I, lot 2266.
