Binding: Eighteenth-century gold-tooled calf; marbled pastedowns; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers; similar bindings on A‑234 and A‑576(1). Size: 216 × 144 × 18 mm. Size of leaf: 198 × 133 mm. Marginal annotations and corrections on [a2v] and [a3r]. Manuscript catchwords in a contemporary hand at the end of each gathering. A four-line initial ‘L' on [a2r] is supplied in blue, with reserved white decoration, and red pen-work infill, and extensions into the margins. Two- and three-line initials, paragraph marks and manuscript foliation are supplied in red; the manuscript foliation is similar to that in A‑576(1). Capital strokes and underlining in red.
