On both covers are merrythoughts and floral centre-pieces; the spine and leather straps with two different lozenge-shaped fleur-de-lis stamps. Size: 243 × 170 × 74 mm. Size of leaf: 231 × 159 mm. Fragments of a parchment manuscript used as reinforcing pieces. Early running headlines. Marginal notes in a sixteenth/seventeenth-century hand. Most initials are supplied in red; red capital strokes.
