Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century gold-tooled diced russia; on both covers double fillets form a double frame; within the outer frame an acorn and flower roll; within the inner a dentelle roll; marbled pastedowns. Size: 413 × 290 × 110 mm. Size of leaf: 388 × 253 mm. Manuscript table of contents with German glosses in an early hand on [a1r]. Early marginal notes in various hands, occasional glosses in German ([a8r]) and Hebrew ([L4v]). On [L2v] an excerpt from Guilelmus Parisiensis, Postilla. List of the books of the Old Testament in a nineteenth-century hand on endleaf at the end of the volume. Woodcut depicting ‘Sanctus Hieronymus' writing pasted onto [a1v]. Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red foliation, capital strokes and underlining. Provenance: Wiblingen, Württemberg, Benedictines, S.
