Size: 300 × 220 × 72 and 300 × 220 × 80 mm. Size of leaf: 288 × 207 mm. On paper slip pasted on the front pastedown, two lists of ten mandata of biblical books. On the verso of an endleaf at the beginning of volume 1, a fifteenth-century hand wrote a ‘Prologus quidem in bibliam primus', incipit: ‘He omnia liber vite e quo . . . Secundum quod dicit beatus . . .' Copious marginal notes in gathering [a] and in the Gospels; a few throughout; some in German. After [G3] is bound in a paper slip with notes in a fifteenth-century hand. Manuscript note by Kloß. Bibliographical note by W. A. Copinger in volume two. Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining in gatherings [a], [P], and [nn]-[rr] only. Provenance: On a paper slip pasted on the nineteenth-century front pastedown, ‘Iste liber primus biblie et s[ecundus? ad idem?] preter inligationem eorum 36 constat albis monete Coloniensis [quibus] Colonie emi anno 1478'.
