  1. B-395(1) Copy Binding: Contemporary Belgian(?) calf over wooden boards. Triple fillets form a border, a double intersecting frame, and divide the inner rectangle into triangular and lozenge-shaped compartments. Two catches lost: holes repaired; rebacked. Formerly chained: staple-marks of a hasp at head (repaired) and middle of the lower cover. Contemporary manuscript label on head of the upper cover; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Size: 300 × 220 × 50 mm. Size of leaf: 291 × 193 mm. On b1r a ten-line initial ‘P' is supplied in blue with reserved white decoration, with infill of reserved white stylized mayflowers, and extensions into the margin and guttering, all touched with green; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red. Capital strokes and underlining in red. Provenance: Michael Brant (fifteenth/sixteenth century); signature on [con6v]: ‘Michaelis Brant/ Flandri Axellani'. Louvain, Brabant, Pédagogie du Porc; demolished 1807; inscription on a2r: ‘Bibliothece Pedagogii Porcensis'.
