Binding: Sixteenth-century German blind-tooled quarter calf over wooden boards; remains of two clasps. Formerly chained: staple-marks of a hasp at foot of the lower cover. Title-label at the head of the upper cover. On both covers fillets form two vertical compartments filled with a roll with a foliate staff and a flower. A fragment of eight leaves, consisting of gathering m8 of Horae [Nuremberg: Friedrich Creussner, c.1495?] has been removed from the binding; see H‑150.
