    1. Collecta magistralia. [Nuremberg: Friedrich Creussner, 1479] (C‑382). Binding: Contemporary German (Ulm, Kyriß workshop no. 126) blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, one metal clasp. Formerly chained: staple-marks for a hasp at the head of the lower cover. Title-label at the head of the upper cover with old shelfmark ‘C XI'. On both covers fillets form a triple frame; within the outer frame is a big circular framed rosette stamp (Kyriß pl. 253, no. 1); in the corners a smaller round stamp with an eagle. Within the second frame is a dragon roll (Kyriß pl. 253, no. 2). The inner rectangle is divided by diagonal fillets into four triangular compartments; in the compartments the smaller round stamp and a small floral stamp. Size: 305 × 220 × 65 mm. Size of leaf: 298 × 202 mm. Provenance: Memmingen, Bavaria, Augustinian Hermits, SS. Johannes et Augustinus; inscription on [a2r] of item 1. On the spine two later labels ‘116' and ‘B 15'. A few early marginal annotations. On [a3r] a six-line initial is supplied in magenta with infill in orange, within a green frame.
