Pietro-Antonio Bolongaro-Crevenna (1735-1792); printed label of sale, largely torn away; sale catalogue (1789), part II lot 1359; in the annotated sale catalogue marked down to ‘V. Ommeren' for Fl. 1, the equivalent of £0. 1. 9, according to the exchange rate used by Thomas Payne at the sale. Charles Weatherby Reynell (1798-1892). Purchased in 1887 from Reynell ‘for £20 . . . out of the donation of £100 from a member of All Souls' Coll.', Sir William Reynell Anson, Warden of All Souls (1843-1914); note on slip attached to front pastedown, also referring to letter from J.
