The ‘Thurecensis phisicus' to whom the text is ascribed is probably Eberhard Schleusinger; see Ernst Zinner, Verzeichnis der astronomischen Handschriften des deutschen Kulturgebiets (Munich, 1925), no. 9427 and Sack, Freiburg. He was identified as Conrad Heingarter by Leo Cunibert Mohlberg, Mittelalterliche Handschriften, Katalog der Handschriften der Zentralbibliothek Zürich, 1 (Zurich, 1952), MS. Car. C.140a.
