Binding: Nineteenth-century calf with gold-tooled spine; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

A few contemporary marginal notes, mainly noting the Latin authors which are employed, but also making a few lexicographical observations; in continuation of the printed foliation, foliation in arabic numerals, from folio 128.

Wanting the blank leaf A1, leaf n8 and all from2 a; leaf n7 slightly defective.
Binding: Eighteenth-century red morocco by Kalthoeber, with his label inside front endleaf; a narrow, a wide, and a narrow fillet form a frame; in the centre, stamped with the arms of Spencer impaling Bingham quartering Turberville; single fillets on edges of boards; Greek key tool on turn-ins; edges of leaves gilt; marbled pastedowns.
Size: 320 × 210 × 40 mm.
Size of leaf: 304 × 188 mm.
In continuation of the printed foliation, foliation in roman numerals, from folio 128.
