Binding: Eighteenth-century red morocco, with gold-tooled spine and marbled pastedowns. Both covers faded and damaged.
Size: 408 × 273 × 23 mm.
Size of leaf: 400 × 258 mm.
Initials, some with extensions into the margins, are supplied in red. Some capital strokes in red. Early manuscript signatures, mainly cropped.
Provenance: Mrs O'Brien; presented through H. J. Mathews; see letter from Mathews to Falconer Madan, dated 14 Feb. 1884, in his correspondence in Library Archives; pencil note (in the hand of Falconer Madan) on verso of front endleaf.
