Sheet [a1.4] now replaced by two different blank leaves, both apparently different from [a2.3] and each other; their inclusion pre-dates the present binding. Gathering [a], sheets [c1.10], [g2.5], [l3.8, 4.7, 5.6], and gatherings [n]–[q] are folio, the rest quarto, not as BMC.
Binding: Eighteenth-century Italian gold-tooled red morocco, probably for Boutourlin.
Size: 298 × 212 × 34 mm.
Size of leaf: 287 × 196 mm.
Early manuscript signatures and foliation; references to the foliation in the table; a few early marginal notes extracting key words.
On [b1r] a Roman nine-line epigraphic initial is supplied in gold, surrounded by white vine-stems defined in red, green, and blue extending into the inner margin and ending in gold dots; other epigraphic initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue. See Pächt and Alexander II, 107 no. pr. 26.
Provenance: Perugia, Olivetans, Monte Morcino; on [q10v] an inscription: ‘Ad usum fratris Pauli de perusia pertinet ad librariam montis Perusie'.
