In the preface stated as being published at the instigation of the founder of the fraternity [the prior of the Dominican house in Basel, Jakob Sprenger], because the first edition (see preceding number in this catalogue) was published without the author's knowledge and with errors; see Scheben (as above), 110.
  2. d1r Alanus de Rupe: Compendium Psalterii Trinitatis. Incipit: ‘[Q]uia catholice veritatis doctor . . .’ See Kaeppeli I 23 no. 83, and Scheeben (as above), 111-14 and 131-7. An excerpt of a larger work: ‘nam de hac materia magnum aliud opus feci; sed hic tamen breuiter ea quæ de huiusmodi psalterio communiter inquiruntur apposui'.
