Size of leaf: 261 × 173 mm. Occasional early marginal annotations; on a1, a contemporary hand extracting key words; towards the end, a later hand excerpting short passages. Manuscript foliation in black ink: 1-67; book numbers in black ink in upper margin. Epigraphic initials are supplied in red at the beginning of the preface and at the beginning of each book; the book appears to have been washed. Provenance: Holkham Hall, Norfolk, Earls of Leicester.
