  1. G-022(1) Copy Wanting the blank leaf [a1]. Binding: Eighteenth-century English calf, the spine stamped with the gilt elephant crest of Fountaine. Size: 306 × 211 × 20 mm. Size of leaf: 300 × 200 mm. Many early marginal annotations in a humanist hand, in red ink, also underlining in the text. Red annotations in two columns, the outer column extracting key words, the inner names of authors. Manuscript foliation in faded red ink: 1-73. Some early annotations in black ink. Initials and some capital strokes are supplied in red. Provenance: Sir Andrew Fountaine (1676-1753); sale (11 June 1902), lot 352. George Dunn (1865-1912).
