On K7v a medical recipe in English in a sixteenth-century hand, entitled ‘A gud medicyne for eyeord(?) or fleyme in the eye', ‘ . . . pro oculis [ ] non possent videre': ‘Take iii sponfull of juse of celydon [greater celandine] & iii sponfull of juse of syphel and stren yam ons or twise througth a smale lyne clothe and take a sponfull of hony and clarified yt on ye fyer & stomyt it cleyn and then bule in juse aforsayde, & it togyder & put in to it a mit great of whyte toperose & then put it in a vessell & put it in to eyes when you gothe to bede or any other tyme'. On the rear endleaf, a philosophical quaestio in a later hand, ‘An potentia sit de essentia materiæ . . .' On the verso of the rear endleaf a philosophical quaestio written in a sixteenth-century hand, entitled incipit: ‘An potentia sit de essentia materiæ. Arguitur quod non . . .’
