Seventeenth/eighteenth-century motto in black ink in the lower margin of A1r: ‘ ἀνέχου και ἀπέξου ‘; the same Greek motto also occurs in H‑045. On the front endleaf, a note relating to the content of the book in J. T. Hand's hand.
Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue; the text is enclosed within red rules.
