=561 \\$aProvenance: A1r inscribed "Codex A hilton p[re]t. ijd" [or possibly ijs] in an early sixteenth-century hand (later crossed through). This is possibly the anonymous "Hilton" who took his BA at Cambridge in 1501 (no Christian name or college recorded). Also with an inscription in Greek (seventeenth century?), below which is written (in the same hand) "Totius vero tracie quos voluit dominos fecit". Another early inscription, at the head of A1r, has been partially eradicated and is unreadable, and a long inscription in a small hand has been washed from the lower part of A1r. From the Holdsworth Bequest (collection of Richard Holdsworth, adjudged to the University in 1664). Early armorial bookplate of the University on A1 recto, and the old shelfmark F.3.33.$5UkCU
