- A–I8 K4 L–N8. The first leaf of each gathering has the catch letter ‘R' for Rome. Types: 81 B; 65 G. 24 lines (B1r). Type area: 95 × 58 mm, with borders 129 × 89 mm (B1r). Woodcuts: anatomical man (100 × 80 mm), 18 large (110 × 76 mm), 30 small (43 × 25 mm). Each textpage is within a combination of historiated borders and decorative elements such as grotesques and floral and figurative designs. Some of the woodcuts have typeset captions.

Wanting A1 containing on the recto the device of Pigouchet, on the verso the almanac for xxi years.
Binding: Sixteenth-century French calf; on both covers, a gilt oval centre-piece containing two initial G's addorsed, one inverted. Rebacked, with the original spine pasted onto the front pastedown; on it is ‘51' at the head, ‘771' on a paper label at the tail. Gilt-edged leaves.
Size: 150 × 106 × 24 mm.
Size of leaf: 143 × 97 mm.
On N8r is a note in a contemporary French hand: ‘Fin disz heures etc a lusage de'.
Initials and line fillers are supplied in gold on a red, blue, or brown ground. Some capitals touched with yellow wash. Ruling in red.
