The woodcut on M4v illustrates from left to right: Cupid, Venus, and animals; a poet standing; a gabled house. The order of the woodcuts on P3v and P4r is reversed from that in the second copy. Binding: Eighteenth-century calf; bound for the Bodleian Library; decorated with a single gold fillet on each cover; the gold stamp of the Library on both covers. Size: 295 × 212 × 37 mm. Size of leaf: 289 × 197 mm. Occasional early marginal and interlinear notes, including corrections to the text. The woodcut on [*1r] is coloured in red, yellow, blue, green, and brown, some others partly coloured in green. Provenance: Carolus Dansermont (sixteenth century); signature on H5v; heavily cancelled inscription on LL8r: ‘[ ] Caroli Dansermont studentis in Collegio Atlensi[ ]'; heavily cancelled signature on V6v. Carolus le Gui[ ]r (sixteenth century); name on R1v: ‘Carolus le Gui[ ]r', and with the surname erased on R2v. Gulielmus Fourot (sixteenth century); cancelled inscription on V6v: ‘Gulielmus Fourot'.
