Size of leaf: 308 × 207 mm. Two rubric headings supplied in black ink on [a2r]. Some early marginal annotations, including extraction of key words, also ‘nota' marks, and underlining in the text. Principal six-line initials supplied in blue with reserved white decoration surrounded by red pen-work and within the body of the letter, and with extensions into the margins; other one- and three-line initials, some with extensions into the margins, supplied in red or blue, paragraph marks supplied in red; capital strokes in red. Provenance: Auhausen an der Wörnitz, Bavaria, Benedictines, S. Maria. Georg Truchseß, Abbot of Auhausen (1499-1552), 1536; inscription on [a2r]: ‘Per reuerendum patrem D.
