=563 \\$aBinding: 16th century German quarter binding of wooden boards with stamped pigskin extending across 40% of the covers. Sewn over four double supports. Clasp with metal catchplate on upper board attached by three nails, tawed pigskin strap attached to lower board by square metal clasp with one nail. Simple blind-tooled design with quadruple fillet in a frame design filled with a large triple fillet X on both upper and lower boards, decorated with small flower stamps and a large lozenge with a dragon rampant. Fragments of MS on paper used as quire guards in first and last gatherings.$5UkCU
