  1. P-386(1) Copy Binding: Eighteenth-century(?) English blind-tooled calf; sprinkled red-edged leaves. Size: 217 × 163 × 28 mm. Size of leaf: 208 × 150 mm. Occasional early marginal annotations, including extraction of key words, and ‘nota' marks. Provenance: Richard Plumtre (sixteenth century); inscriptions on i4v: ‘Richarde Plumtre owth thys boke'; ‘Richard Plumtre amen dico vobis herde Plutarch[ ] to teche lat[ ]'. Thomas Rawlinson (1681-1725); sale, pt 9 (16 Oct. 1727), lot 2506 (number written in black ink on the recto of the front endleaf). Richard Rawlinson (1690-1755)(?). A rectangular paper ticket at the head of the spine, bearing the number ‘189' in black ink, covering a lozenge-shaped ticket, with a second lozenge-shaped ticket at the tail.
