Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century blind-tooled morocco, with gilt- and gauffered-edged leaves, and floral paper pastedowns.
Size: 110 × 90 × 50 mm.
Size of leaf: 105 × 77 mm.
On a1r a six-line initial ‘B' is supplied in burgundy and azure with white pen-work decoration, on a square gold ground, now badly damaged; on the same leaf the text, edged by a gold frame, is surrounded by a full border made of burgundy, blue, and green floral decoration and gold dots (Venice?). A few other principal initials are supplied in the same style. Other principal initials are supplied in blue with red pen-work decoration.
