Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century gold-tooled diced calf; gilt-edged leaves, rose-trellis patterned pastedowns, and a pink silk bookmark. Size: 183 × 133 × 11 mm. Size of leaf: 178 × 125 mm. Manuscript initials in black ink. Provenance: Sir Hans Sloane (1660-1753). London, British Museum; black octagonal stamp indicating the Sloane collection; ‘British Museum sale duplicate 1787' stamp on [b6v] and [*2r]; probably A Catalogue of the Duplicate Books . . . of the British Museum (London: Leigh and Sotheby, 6 Mar. 1788), lot 3845(1).
