  1. H-223A(1) Copy Wanting the blank leaf [t8]. Binding: Nineteenth-century marbled paper boards. Leather index tabs. Size: 417 × 300 × 45 mm. Size of leaf: 407 × 280 mm. Early manuscript title-page on [a1r] and title on [a2r]: ‘Liber ethimologiarum Rabani'. Early signatures visible. Notes in Kloß's hand. On [a2r] a ten-line initial ‘D' is supplied in red with reserved white decoration, within a square ground made of brown pen-work decoration, partially coloured in green, with extension into the margin. Same style of decoration for other principal initials. Other initials, running book number, paragraph marks, and chapter heading underlining are supplied in red; capital strokes in red. Provenance: P. Schmitz (nineteenth century?); signature in brown ink in the upper right-hand corner of the front endleaf.
