Binding: Eighteenth-century quarter calf with marbled paper boards; the spine gold-tooled, with the title in gilt on a red label; a printed letter ‘A' on a square paper label and ‘[ ]|3' on a rhomboid paper label at the head and tail of the spine respectively; red-edged leaves. Size: 266 × 204 × 22 mm. Size of leaf: 263 × 188 mm. A few marginal notes in a contemporary German hand in German and Latin. On [a5v]: ‘[Lot]h ist Abrahams brůder sůn geweßen'. On [b5v] the same hand adds Jeremiah's prophecy about the Jews' exile in Babylon: ‘Hyeremias dicit Jherusalem per Caldeos destructandam(?), et populum Israhel captiuatum(?) et ductum in Babylonem. Et hec transmigratio Babylonica et destructio Jherusalemis facta est ante Christum uel natiuitatem(?) saluatoris anno [deleted] 587'. Almost obliterated notes in a sixteenth-century German hand on the cropped leaf [*1] and on [e2r]. The author is named in a note in a seventeenth-century German hand on [g8v.] Initials, paragraph marks, capital strokes, underlining, running headings, and folio numbers are supplied in red.
