Binding: Nineteenth-century gold-tooled red morocco, by Trautz-Bauzonnet (signed on the inside of the upper cover), with the armorial stamp of Baron Seillière, and 'Bibliothèque de Mello', for which see Joannis Guigard, Nouvel armorial du bibliophile, 2 vols (Paris, 1890), II 438; gilt-edged leaves and pink silk bookmark. Gilt-edged leaves, marbled pastedowns, and blue silk bookmark.
Size: 320 × 245/250 × 35/40 mm.
Size of leaf: 313 × 225/27 mm.
On cc6r-v a long note in French, dated 1611. A few marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, in the same hand.
Initials, paragraph marks, and chapter heading underlining are supplied in red. Capitals touched with yellow wash.
