1. S-257(1) Copy Bound with A‑073; see there for details of binding and provenance. Size of leaf: 205 × 133 mm. Leaf a1, as described by Pellechet, contains a printed title but in this copy is blank. Some marginal notes, mainly ‘nota' marks and some structuring of the text, in an early hand, brown ink, probably that of da Ponte. On a2r a four-line initial ‘V' is supplied in red with reserved white decoration. Paragraph marks and chapter heading underlining in red, only on this leaf. SHELFMARK: Douce 96(3).
