On aaa1r in a fifteenth-century German hand: ‘Magister aliorum debet esse prouidus ydoneus et discretus. Ita habentur | in c[apitolis] i ii et iii de magistris | Prouidus ut primus animas et postea lignas(!) glori faciat . . .’
On aaa1v a five-line initial ‘Q' is supplied in blue with red pen-work decoration within and outside the body of the initial. Elsewhere initials are supplied in red or blue.
