On a6v a ten-line note in a sixteenth-century German humanist hand in brown ink: ‘Elegiarum carmen quod hexametro / pentametroque versum alternatim locato constat . . .’ Provenance: Buxheim, Bavaria, Carthusians, BVM; see G‑027; not listed in Honemann, ‘Buxheim Collection'.
