A few marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, in an early hand in brown ink, in vol. 1 only. Early gathering numbers, in arabic numerals in brown ink, in the lower right-hand corner of the versos.
On [a2r] a ten-line initial ‘S' is supplied in red with reserved white and brown pen-work decoration. Other initials, paragraph marks, and chapter heading underlining are supplied in red.
