  1. V-118(1) Copy Wanting sheet L1.8 (the last leaf blank). Gathering H is misbound in the order: H2,1,4,3,6,5. Binding: Nineteenth-century paper boards coloured dark blue; German prints from this period visible in the spine, now detached. ‘19' in black ink across the fore-edge, the 9 only partially visible, indicates that the volume was previouly bound with other texts. ‘106' in red ink on a circular paper label at the tail of the spine. Size: 195 × 140 × 19 mm. Size of leaf: 188 × 128 mm. Some notes relating to the text in a contemporary German hand on A1r, including an early press mark ‘Q[/O?] 66', and L7v. Throughout, marginal notes, mainly extracting key words and structuring the text, in the same early German hand. Also scribbles and initials with human faces in ink. Initials, paragraph marks, and underlining of chapter headings are supplied in red; capital strokes in red. After the colophon the rubricator's note: ‘Et sic est finis in die Magdalene 1494'.
