Binding: Nineteenth-century gold-tooled brown morocco over thick pasteboards; yellow-edged leaves; marbled pastedowns. Size: 370 × 270 × 60 mm. Size of leaf: 352 × 250 mm. Early marginal annotations in Spanish (Catalan?), apparently in the same red ink used for the rubrication; some ‘nota' marks also in black ink. On [*1r] a three-line initial ‘E' is supplied in gold on a blue and dark pink ground with highlighting in white and floral extension in black ink into the inner margin. On a1r a nine-line initial ‘C' is supplied in gold on a blue and dark pink ground with white decoration, and floral extensions into the inner margin in gold, black, and green. Principal initials are supplied in red, some with pen-flourishing in pale pink and reserved white decoration; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; underlining in red; capitals touched with yellow wash.
