[ ] Ellis (fl. 1712/1713).
Thomas Hearne (1678-1735); note in his hand on c4r: ‘The fragment was given to me by Mr. Ellis one of the Master Printers on Febr. 10 1712/13. I never saw any part of the Book in this old edition before. Mr. Ellis had it from Mr. Kimber the Roman Catholick in Hally-well and says that there was more of it, but that he took this as it was brought to him with tobacco. Twas printed, I think, beyond sea. The author, at least was a German'.
